Early intervention is essential –(NICE Spasticity Guidelines July 2012)

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Evidence (NICE) Spasticity Guidelines published in July 2012 state that “Children with physical, movement, known neurological and developmental problems, especially those with altered muscle tone should be seen as soon as possible as early assessment and intervention is essential.”
At children’s neuro physio we are able to share the findings of these guidelines with our parents alongside our experience to ensure they are full informed when considering interventions such as Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy.
